Job Overview
Due to expansion we are currently recruiting across both of our settings located at Gyle Area(Edinburgh) and Broxburn(West Lothian).
We are a small family friendly nursery, with exciting plans to expand. We are looking for a deputy manager to join our team to support the manager and nursery in its daily routines and operations.
As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager and staff team.
This role is essential in maintaining a secure, nurturing environment and delivering excellent care and a high quality experiences to children while supporting the overall management of the nursery in the managers absence.
As a Deputy Manager, you will need to be level 3 qualified as a minimum in accordance to the government guidelines. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have their level 4 or above, however we would look to seek further training to support you in your role. It is essential that you already have some leadership experience, but this role will be perfect for anybody who is looking for their next step in the Early Years journey.
Duties
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Supervise staff and , providing guidance and support to ensure quality care for all service users.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Foster a positive environment
- Participate in staff training and development.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: From £15\.50 per hour
