About the role
Adams Foodservice, part of the Bestway Group, have been serving the main catering markets including Fast Food outlets for over 35 years. From eight locations across England, we are a food, drinks, \& consumables supplier working with some of the world's biggest brands.
At our Hull site the Deputy Branch Manager as well as being hands on, will have organisational and management responsibilities, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities:
- To act as a point of contact for all queries from staff, customers and suppliers with the aim of growing the business.
- Manage, organise and provide training for Cash \& Carry staff
- Review job applications and arrange interviews as required
- Update the team on company policies, procedures and rules changes
- Oversee and assist with stock control and ordering including organising and undertaking the branch stock\-checks and ensuring goods are always in stock
- Hold investigations and meetings for HR related issues including grievance and disciplinary
- Assist the Branch Manager to deliver all Health \& Safety requirements and undertake any other project work that may be reasonably assigned from time to time
- Support the Transport Supervisor ensuring all compliance is actioned
- Organise and undertake the branch cash \& bank processes
- Essential ability to drive a Forklift Truck or willing to be trained
- Must be flexible, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A hands\-on approach to daily activities
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Be able to analyse customer needs and make recommendation based on sound business knowledge and commercial acumen
- To work as part of a team
- Flexible in approach to change
- Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with a varied client group which includes retail and warehouse staff
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft
