About Us
We are a busy and fast\-paced tyre depot supplying tyres and vehicle services to both retail and fleet customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Depot Administrator \& Operations Coordinator to support the day\-to\-day running of our depot.
The Role
This is a varied role combining administration, stock control, logistics planning, and operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the depot runs efficiently while supporting drivers, fitters, and the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out monthly stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Placing tyre and consumable orders with suppliers.
- Processing supplier returns and credits.
- Organising daily routes for drivers.
- Job allocation and route planning to maximise efficiency.
- Preparing and loading tyre cages for drivers’ daily deliveries.
- Posting purchase invoices and supplier credit notes accurately.
- Assisting with loading jobs from customer emails into the operating system.
- Supporting the depot team with administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintaining high levels of organisation within the depot.
- Ensuring all paperwork and records are completed accurately and on time.
- Previous experience in an administrative, logistics, warehouse, depot, or motor trade environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
