Guiney's are seeking to hire an experienced Department Chargehand for our CORK store.

Chargehand reports to the store manager and work as part of a cohesive team to achieve maximum sales through the delivery of excellent customer service.

Core responsibilities for this role include

• Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times


• Managing point of sale processes, including cash, card \& credit transactions.


• To ensure customers receive high quality and consistent service at all times


• To deal with and rectify customer complaints in an effective and pleasant manner


• Adhering to policies and procedures for the security of cash and merchandise.


• Participating in regular stock taking

• Ensure store is merchandised in a customer friendly and competitive manner ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines


• Ensure housekeeping in the store is maintained at an optimum level


• To ensure the appropriate cash register and cash handling policy is adhered to


• Adherence to all company policies \& procedures, Health \& Safety procedures and reporting of any hazards to the Store Management.

Job Type: Part\-time

Pay: From €14\.15 per hour
