About Boyne Dental

Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic is a family of three dental practices in Maynooth, Navan and Dunshaughlin. We care for patients at every stage of life, from routine check\-ups to life\- changing implant and cosmetic treatment. We're big enough to offer the latest treatments, but small enough that our patients and our team are known by name. We believe great dentistry starts with feeling welcome, listened to and genuinely cared for, and that warmth is something both our patients and our team notice every day.

About the role

Our Treatment Coordinator is one of the most important people in the patient journey. You'll be the bridge between our clinical team and our patients: the friendly, reassuring face who guides each person from their first consultation right through to the end of their treatment, making sure they feel informed, comfortable and confident at every step.

Many patients come to us feeling nervous, self\-conscious or unsure what their options are. You'll take the time to sit with them and find out what really matters to them, whether that's eating comfortably again, fixing a smile they've hidden for years or simply feeling less anxious in the chair. Then you'll explain their treatment plan in plain language, answer their questions honestly, and help them choose what's right for them. You'll work hand in hand with our dentists and the wider Maynooth team, so that every patient has an experience they'll want to tell their friends and family about.

For many of our patients, the treatment you help them start will change how they eat, speak, smile and feel about themselves. There are few jobs where you get to see that kind of difference up close. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves people, takes pride in going the extra mile, and wants every patient to leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.

What you'll do

*Welcoming and guiding patients*

  • Greet patients in person at the practice, putting nervous patients at ease and making every visit feel personal.

  • Make sure patients know exactly what to expect from their consultation and treatment, so there are no surprises along the way.

  • Work closely with our central bookings hub so patients are smoothly handed over and every detail of their treatment journey is joined up.

  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for patients having larger treatments such as implants, orthodontics, clear aligners and cosmetic dentistry, so they always have a familiar face to turn to.
*Supporting treatment decisions*
  • Listen first: take time to understand each patient's concerns, goals and budget before talking through any options.

  • Hold relaxed, private treatment consultations after a patient's clinical assessment, explaining their options, timescales, fees and payment or finance plans clearly and honestly.

  • Follow up thoughtfully with patients who are considering treatment, giving them the time and information they need to decide with confidence, never pressure.

  • Make sure all information shared with patients reflects our clinical standards and the Boyne Dental brand.
*Working with the team*
  • Work closely with our dentists and clinical team to support treatment plan creation and help patients move smoothly from consultation to treatment.

  • Keep treatment plans, notes and patient communications up to date in Dentally so that treatment journeys run seamlessly.

  • Share insights with our marketing team on where new patients are coming from and which treatments they're interested in.

  • Contribute ideas to regular team and operations meetings on how we can keep improving the patient experience.
*Looking after patient experience and growth*
  • Keep accurate records of consultations and follow\-ups, and track how many patients go ahead with treatment.

  • Help the practice reach its monthly, quarterly and annual new patient and treatment goals, always in an ethical, patient\-first way.

  • Listen to patient feedback, and support the Practice Manager in resolving any concerns or complaints quickly, kindly and to a satisfactory conclusion.

  • Celebrate patients' results with them, and encourage happy patients to share their experience through reviews and referrals.
About you
  • A warm, natural people person who genuinely enjoys helping others and makes everyone feel at ease: someone who remembers names, faces and the little details.

  • Experience in a patient\-facing or customer\-facing role; experience in dental or healthcare is a real advantage.

  • A confident, clear communicator, face to face, on the phone and in writing.

  • Empathetic and a great listener, with the patience to support nervous or undecided patients.

  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and finance options openly and honestly.

  • Organised and proactive, with a strong eye for detail and follow\-up.

  • Motivated by goals and results, but always guided by care and integrity. You believe the right outcome for the patient is the right outcome for the practice.

  • Comfortable using practice management software (experience with Dentally is a plus).

  • A team player who is happy to work closely with clinicians, nurses and reception.
What we offer
  • A key, valued role at the heart of a friendly, supportive practice team: warm, welcoming and never corporate.

  • Full training on our treatments, digital workflow and Dentally.

  • Ongoing professional development, CPD support and real opportunities to grow with us across our three clinics.
