Dental Receptionist / Dental Nurse
We're a friendly mixed NHS practice looking for a warm, organised person to join our team. This is mainly a front\-of\-house reception role, so you'll be the welcoming face of the practice and the first person our patients meet.
You'll also provide chairside nursing cover from time to time, stepping in to support the clinical team during busy or short\-staffed clinics. GDC\-registered dental nurse or trainee nurses would be suited to the role.
Pay: According to experience and qualification.
What you'll do
- Welcome patients and manage check\-in, check\-out and appointment booking
- Answer the phone and handle enquiries with a friendly, helpful manner
- Keep patient records accurate and confidential
- Process payments and billing
- Keep reception calm, tidy and welcoming
- Provide chairside cover when required: assisting during treatments, setting up surgeries, sterilising instruments and following infection control protocols
- Some dental nursing experience.
- Happy to step into clinics at short notice.
- Well organised, with good attention to detail.
- Warm, approachable communication skills.
- A genuine care for patients.
- Reception experience.
