Dental Receptionist

We are looking to recruit a dental receptionist at one of our NHS/Private Dental Practice in Chelmsford.

Advent Dental Practice is a mixed NHS and private dental practice. We are looking for a full time professional, capable call handler/receptionist to assist with patient bookings across all 3 of the practices. As part of your role, you will work across our other sites which are located on Moulsham Street.

The role will involve diary management, greeting patients, telephone and email correspondence with added administrative duties.

Requirements

\- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language;

\- Excellent communication skills;

\- Pleasant and patient manner with people and good understanding of what represents a positive customer/patient experience;

\- Ability to multi\-task \- manning the phone while handling check\-ins and payments;

\- Resilience;

\- Handles pressure of a fast\-paced environment;

\- Computer literate and capable of acquiring new skills and working with new software systems;

\- Professional appearance;

\- Attention to detail;

\- Managing the private dentists diaries, including ensuring letters are written and sent as and when necessary.

\- Manage treatment plans in the clinical software

\- Follow up on enquiries

Working hours are Monday\-Friday from 08:00\-17:45, with occasional weekends/bank holidays from 09:00\-12:00\.
