Dental Nurse
Overview:
We are a friendly dental practice seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team in providing high\-quality dental care to our patients. We are based in Shawlands, with excellent transport links and east on street parking.
We offer a competitive salary, in excess of £14\.50ph for a qualified nurse, but a trainee would also be considered for less. Other benefits include bonus days off, GDC paid, tea breaks etc.
The post if for 4 days per week. Mon, Tue, Thurs 9\-6pm, Fri 9\-5pm. Wednesdays off.
The ideal candidate should be compassionate, detail\-oriented, and dedicated to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
\- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
\- Providing chairside support to patients
\- Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in the dental surgery
\- Managing patient records and updating treatment plans
\- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices
\- Processing dental X\-rays and maintaining equipment
\- Ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed
Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
\- Excellent patient care skills
\- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
\- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records
\- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues effectively
\- Registered Nurse qualification
\- Organisational skills to manage patient appointments efficiently
