We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Orthodontic Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at Splash Orthodontics in Hove.

This is a varied role combining both clinical nursing and front\-of\-house reception duties. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Applicants must be a qualified Dental Nurse and hold current GDC registration.

Previous orthodontic experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Assisting the Orthodontist and Orthodontic Therapist during clinical procedures


• Providing patients with clear instructions regarding their treatment


• Taking intra\-oral and extra\-oral photographs and digital scans (training provided if required)


• Maintaining high standards of infection control and instrument sterilisation


• Preparing and organising surgeries and equipment

• Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional environment


• Checking patients in and out using our practice management software


• Booking appointments and managing clinician diaries


• Processing payments and treatment plans


• Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries


• Processing referrals and supporting the smooth day\-to\-day running of the practice

• Monday to Friday


• 4–5 days per week


• Possibility of one Saturday per month, shared between all team members


• Overtime available when required
