Dental Nurse

Raby Road Dental Centre is a 6 surgery mixed NHS/Private Dental practice who are passionate about patient care and professional development.

We have the opportunity for a part time ( 2/3 Days) qualified dental nurse to join our friendly team.

Our modern practice provides a wide range of treatment including: NHS/Private treatments and Implants. We also offer cosmetic treatments, sedation, oral surgery, botox/fillers, Invisalign and endodontics.

The practice has been completely remodelled with new equipment/chairs/x\-ray machines. Benefits from 2 TCOs, a hygienist/therapist, digital X\-rays, CBCT rotary endo, Dentally software.

The purpose of the job is to provide clinical support to dentists, hygienists and patients, assist with reception or any clerical duties as required and perform such other tasks as reasonably requested by the practice owner or practice manager.

You should have suitable dental nursing qualification(s) and evidence of hepatitis B immunity. Employment duties:

• Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist in all procedures in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses, the GDC’s ‘Scope of Practice’


• Follow practice policies and procedures


• Maintain registration with the GDC


• Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines


• Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team


• Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required


• Must be registered with the GDC and have proof of vaccinations.


• Role requires an enhanced DBS


• Opening hours 8:15\-5:30pm

Pay: From £13\.50 per hour

• Valid GDC registration (required)
