Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse or trainee to join our dynamic dental practice during a period or rebranding and renovation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high\-quality treatments. The Dental Nurse will be responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

We would love someone to assist us in online presence making reels and short videos showcasing us all having fun at work.

Initially this job is for 2/3 days a week

Tuesday , Thursday

8\.45am \- 5\.00 pm

also available is

Friday Morning 8\.45am \- 1\.00pm

Potential for further hours in future.

CPD , GDC , Indemnity Paid , Training away days ,

Access to private GP and Physiotherapy care

Free Dental treatment if required.

4 brand new fully air conditioned surgeries

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.

  • Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.

  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and practice policies.

  • Organise appointments and manage the dental schedule to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, ensuring all equipment is sterilised and ready for use.

  • Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a positive atmosphere within the practice.
Experience
  • Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential we will consider a trainee

  • Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.

  • Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

  • A background in nursing or relevant qualifications in dental nursing would be advantageous.

  • Proficiency in IT systems currently using Dentally ( training given )
