Collins House is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for another Dental Nurse to join our expanding clinical team.
We've recently welcomed experienced new clinicians to the practice and are continuing to broaden the range of dentistry we provide. As our clinical team and patient base grow, we're now looking for additional nursing support to grow alongside them.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than simply another dental nursing job. We're building an ambitious, modern practice with a strong team around it, while retaining the friendly, personal atmosphere that our patients have known for many years.
We're ideally looking for an experienced, GDC\-registered Dental Nurse, although we'd be equally pleased to hear from an enthusiastic newly qualified nurse.
For an exceptional candidate, we would also consider a Trainee Dental Nurse who is committed to developing a long\-term career in dentistry.
A little about Collins House
Based in the heart of Hereford, Collins House is an established dental practice providing private, Denplan and NHS dentistry.
We have a substantial and long\-established Denplan patient base and are continuing to develop the private side of the practice, with an increasing range of restorative, cosmetic and more advanced treatments available to our patients.
With new clinicians joining, continued investment in the practice and ambitious plans for its future, there's a lot happening at Collins House.

What will the role involve?
You'll work alongside our dentists and wider team, providing high\-quality clinical support and helping us deliver an excellent experience for our patients.
Your role will include:
- Providing chairside assistance across a broad range of treatments
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries, instruments, materials and equipment
- Maintaining excellent infection prevention and decontamination standards
- Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their care
- Assisting with clinical charting and accurate record keeping
- Supporting radiography procedures where appropriately trained
- Managing laboratory work and helping monitor clinical stock
- Identifying and reporting equipment or maintenance issues
- Helping the wider team keep the practice running smoothly
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following practice policies
- Participating in CPD, team meetings and training
- Supporting trainee colleagues where appropriate
Our preference for this position is a qualified Dental Nurse, but we won't overlook an exceptional trainee simply because they haven't qualified yet.
If you have the right attitude, reliability and commitment to dental nursing, we'd still like to hear from you. Appropriate supervision and support would be provided while you work towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
