We are looking for a motivated and professional Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice team on a part\-time basis.

Position Details

• Role: Dental Nurse


• Hours: 15 to 22\.5 hours per week (to be discussed)


• Pay: Up to £14\.50 per hour (depending on experience)


• Location: Bromyard, Herefordshire HR7 4EY


• Contract Type: Part\-time (fixed\-term and/or self\-employed considered).

The successful candidate will provide high\-quality clinical assistance to practice clinicians, working with little to no supervision while maintaining the highest professional standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including equipment


• Carry out infection prevention and control procedures


• Record dental charting and oral tissue assessments carried out by clinicians


• Prepare, mix and handle dental biomaterials


• Provide chairside support during treatments


• Maintain full, accurate and contemporaneous patient records


• Prepare equipment, materials and patients for dental radiography


• Process dental radiographs


• Monitor, support and reassure patients throughout treatment


• Provide appropriate patient advice and support


• Assist colleagues and patients during medical emergencies


• Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals where required


• Carry out reception duties and provide administrative support


• Keep all areas of the practice clean, tidy and presentable

• Qualified and GDC\-registered Dental Nurse


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Professional, caring and patient\-focused approach


• Knowledge of current infection control and cross\-contamination procedures

• Competitive hourly rate of up to £14\.50 per hour
