We’re looking for a confident, organised, and patient\-focused Dental Administrator / Receptionist to become a key part of our Bristol team.
The Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient clinic environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing reception duties, coordinating appointments, supporting the clinical team with administration, and ensuring the smooth day\-to\-day running of the front desk.
This role requires somebody who is proactive, calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident managing multiple priorities at once.

Key Responsibilities
*Reception \& Patient Experience*
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to patients and visitors
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries
- Booking, amending, and coordinating appointments using Dentally
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
- Processing patient payments
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception environment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Managing correspondence, scanning, filing, and clinic administration
- Supporting hotel bookings and patient logistics where required
- Assisting with stock ordering and general office organisation
- Supporting clinicians and the wider clinic team with administrative tasks
- Supporting local clinic marketing initiatives and patient engagement activities
- Assisting with the organisation of clinic events, open days, and team engagement activities
- Supporting relationships with local businesses, referral partners, and community initiatives
- Assisting with patient communications relating to local campaigns and events
- Ensuring GDPR and patient confidentiality standards are maintained at all times
- Supporting clinic compliance processes and operational procedures
- Assisting with Health \& Safety requirements within the reception environment
- Supporting the Business Manager with day\-to\-day operational workflows
*Essential*
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to work well in a fast\-paced team environment
- Previous dental or healthcare experience
- Knowledge of Dentally or similar practice management software
- Experience handling patient payments and diary management
- Understanding of GDPR and patient confidentiality
- Experience supporting events, marketing activities, or patient engagement initiatives
