Demand Planner

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Demand Planner to join one of our excellent Client's Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and ensuring alignment between customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capabilities.

This role will be on a Temp to Perm Basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using sales data, market trends, and business insights.

• Lead the demand planning process and support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.


• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to align forecasts with business objectives.


• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse demand trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.


• Support inventory optimisation and ensure demand plans align with operational and supply chain capabilities.


• Produce forecasting reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights to support decision-making and business growth.

Skills and Requirements: • At least 3 years recent experience as a within demand planning / supply chain management / forecasting

• Proven experience within an S&OP or Integrated Business Planning environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and forecasting techniques.


• Experience using ERP and demand planning systems


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Commercial awareness and understanding of supply chain principles.
