Duties

• Safely operate company vans or commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations


• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and ensure on\-time arrivals


• Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting tasks, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly


• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations


• Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock organization, and order picking


• Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver operating light commercial vehicle, with a clean driving record.


• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with inventory management and manual handling techniques.


• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods


• Organised with attention to detail for accurate documentation and efficient route planning.
