This is a global supplier to the construction industry and the role will involve supporting the head of supply chain to manage suppliers customers, logistics, shipping parts and the product journey.

We are seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate degree Apprentice to join us in South Wales. You will gain valuable career experience, earn a salary and also be supported to study and complete a BSc (honours) Degree part\-time day release, one day a week.

Your degree will be fully funded (worth £30,000\) and so there will be no student loans to pay off when you qualify in 4 years.

This undergraduate degree apprenticeship role is designed for an individual who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a busy office environment and learn great career skills. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands\-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on various tasks.

Requirements

• A strong interest in business, administration, economics, importing/ exporting or managing processes


• You will need to be able to communicate well and build good relationships externally, such as with our European offices or our suppliers in India or China.


• Excellent attention to detail


• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem\-solving skills


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.


• A proactive attitude towards learning and development.


• An interest in a production environment


• Must hold a full drivers’ licence


• You will need to successfully enrol with UWTSD and most of your university study will be distance learning \- online, tutor led.


• A condition of any job offer is to secure a university place where specified.


• Must have a min of 2 A levels or a BTEC extended diploma in engineering or business


• Must live in Wales to qualify for a funded place

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to enter a career in supply chain \- which in essence is getting the product to the customer on time and within budget. You will present data on a daily basis that is relied up across the business. As your experience grows you will also get the opportunity to lead on Lean projects while acquiring a 100% funded business degree and valuable skills that will benefit your professional growth.
