Currently our Schiphol\-based team is looking for a

Declarant (full time)

The Job

• Responsible for handling of import and export declarations in automated customs

declaration system.

• Responsible for the administration of private customs bonded warehouse conform

the rules and regulations set by the customs and tax authority.

• Responsible for the internal audits of all customs declarations and bonded

warehouse administration periodically according to the internal AO/IB.

• Responsible for customer inquiries regarding customs feasibility correctness of the

documentation provided.

• Responsible for signaling and documenting irregularities in customs processes,

correct and resolve where needed.

• Responsible for handling of physical inspections by the customs on site and taking

care of questionnaires from the customs with regard to the physical inspections.

• Responsible for archiving the necessary documentation conform customs

regulations.

• Responsible for communication with internal departments, customers, vendors and

Dutch Customs.

You

• Have the right to live and work in The Netherlands


• In possession of Junior licensed broker or in progress of obtaining said license or previous

customs related work experience within logistical company.

• You have demonstrable affinity with Customs related affairs


• Business proficiency in English and Dutch, good oral and written communication skills

(Chinese is a plus)

• Proficient working knowledge of Ms Word, Outlook, and Excel (experience with a logistics

system is a plus)

• Good analytical and problem\-solving skills


• Strong work ethic with a clear sense of responsibility


• Pro\-active, flexible and communicative team\-player

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: From €3\.000,00 per month
