Debt Recovery / Credit Control Specialist

• Location: Edinburgh, Scotland


• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent


• Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a close client of ours who are seeking a Debt Recovery Specialist. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team and responsible for assisting their credit and debt function.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintaining credit control function


• Collecting customer payments


• Monitoring aged debt


• Issuing documentation and managing responses


• Raising court proceedings where necessary


• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate billing records


• Processing collections efficiently


• Perform ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
