ROLE MISSION
Lead Datalogic’s Data Capture commercial strategy across the Benelux, with full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, market\-share expansion and strategic customer development.
The Sales Director will lead the regional sales organisation and strengthen Datalogic’s position across Transport \& Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing and Healthcare, translating EMEA and global priorities into effective local execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute the Benelux Data Capture sales strategy in alignment with EMEA and global objectives.
- Own regional revenue and profitability targets, driving sustainable growth and market\-share expansion.
- Lead, coach and develop the Benelux sales team, building capabilities, accountability and succession.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across Transport \& Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing and Healthcare.
- Own strategic account development and build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
- Drive customer segmentation, account prioritisation and value\-based selling.
- Lead forecasting, pipeline management, budgeting and business reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely corrective action.
- Monitor performance across accounts, industries and channels, translating insights into commercial actions.
- Adapt global strategies to local market dynamics and act as the primary interface between the Benelux organisation, EMEA leadership and global Business Units.
- Foster cross\-functional collaboration to maximise customer value and business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant sales experience, including leadership of account managers and commercial responsibility for a country, region or industry.
- Proven track record in selling AIDC and/or Industrial Automation devices and solutions to end users or OEMs.
- Strong knowledge of Retail, Transport \& Logistics, Manufacturing or Factory Automation; exposure to Healthcare is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets, developing strategic accounts and growing market share.
- Experience in sales strategy, business planning, forecasting, pipeline governance and performance management.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (C1–C2\); French is an advantage.
- Strategic and commercially driven leadership style, with a strong focus on execution and results.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship\-building skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, business judgement and ability to translate data into action.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high\-performing teams in an international environment.
- Collaborative, customer\-focused, resilient and accountable approach.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms; Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.

- Annual base salary: €100,000–€125,000
- Variable compensation: €70,000
