Capgemini is seeking a highly skilledData Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. This role focuses on modern data engineering practices, including developing high\-performance data pipelines and contributing to technical design and architecture discussions. The position plays a key role in enabling analytics, reporting, and business\-critical data use cases across the organization.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
-------------
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks using Databricks, Python, and PySpark
- Build and optimize data workflows to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable data solutions
- Actively contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and design reviews
- Ensure high standards of data quality, performance, and reliability across platforms
- Support integration with data storage systems such as cloud data lakes and (optionally) Snowflake

- Strong hands\-on experience with Databricks (must\-have)
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for large\-scale data processing
- Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, batch processing, transformations)
- Proven experience building scalable and efficient data pipelines
- Exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses
- Understanding of data architecture and system design principles
- Awareness of agentic AI and machine learning concepts, and how they integrate with data platforms
