Temporary (4 month) Contract, Part Time Hours.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Quality \- review and cleanse data associated with referrals, waiting lists and appointments.
- Validation of Mercy University Hospital (MUH) data.
- Gain and maintain knowledge on iPMS upgrades and SDU update.
- Implementation of SDU protocols in relation to waiting times, e.g. follow up with Medical Secretary on referrals that are outside of Triage Time.
- Escalation of data issues to Administrative Services Manager, OSMG, Divisional Lead and the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2\) of the Outpatients Department (OPD).
- Follow up and close out on data errors, and advise on training in relation to repeat data errors.
- Follow data protection guidelines to ensure that all MUH data adheres to best practice in information governance and data protection.
- Compiled data must follow set SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) as set by members of the different governance groups.
- Assist in compiling regular reports for Departmental Heads and relevant Committees.
- Attend all meetings external and internal pertaining to MUH data protection as required.
- Attend OSMG meetings, and Healthcare Records Management meetings as requested by the Healthcare Records Manager.
- Attend meetings in relation to the GP electronic referrals.
- Previous administrative experience of at least 2 years.
- Excellent Communication, Organisational and Time Management skills.
- Ability to work on one's own initiative or in a team environment.
- Experience of iPMS essential desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Possess excellent IT skills.
- Experience of problem solving and decision making.
- Knowledge of MUH, SDU guidelines and breach management.
- Ability to prioritise data requirements and reduce inaccurate MUH data.
