A leading national law firm is looking to strengthen its specialist Data Protection & Information Governance team with the addition of a talented solicitor or experienced data protection professional.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning practice advising on complex, high-value and often high-profile matters within an increasingly important and fast-evolving area of law.
The Role
You’ll play a key role within a collaborative and highly regarded team, working on a wide range of contentious data protection and information law matters, including:
- Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- Personal data breaches and incident response
- Wider data protection and information governance issues
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE, or a skilled in-house data protection professional
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act
- Proven experience handling DSARs, FOIA requests, and data breach responses
- A commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Experience in cyber incidents and contentious data protection matters
- Exposure to tribunal proceedings or litigation
