Data-Oriented Functional Analyst

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Data\-Oriented Functional Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and data\-driven solution design. This role combines functional analysis, data modelling and information management expertise.

Your Day\-to\-Day

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into detailed data specifications.


• Design conceptual and logical data models.


• Create and maintain data catalogues and data dictionaries.


• Support the definition of reporting and analytics requirements.


• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, issues and business insights.


• Define data flows and integration requirements.


• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.


• Contribute to document management and digitalisation initiatives.


• Participate in solution validation and testing activities.


• Support data governance and data quality initiatives.

• Proven experience in data analysis and functional analysis roles.


• Strong understanding of data modelling principles.


• Experience with SQL and data querying techniques.


• Knowledge of APIs and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.


• Experience with UML, BPMN, ERD and data flow modelling.


• Understanding of data warehouses, data lakes and reporting environments.


• Experience creating data catalogues and business data models.


• Knowledge of data governance principles is highly desirable.


• Strong communication skills with both business and technical audiences.


• Fluent French is mandatory.
