Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Build and maintain advanced SQL procedures and transformations within Snowflake environments to ensure efficient data processing and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to support the delivery of reliable and high-quality data solutions for international stakeholders.
- Work with ETL processes and tools, including supporting integrations and orchestration activities related to data workflows.
- Contribute to the migration, transformation, and management of large datasets while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Support the continuous improvement of data engineering practices, automation processes, and system performance optimization.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues across data platforms and infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with remote international teams and contribute proactively within Agile development environments.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL development, including the creation of SQL procedures.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience working with modern data transformation workflows.
- Familiarity with Matillion or similar ETL tools is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience working with AWS services, particularly S3 storage, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and cloud-based data architectures.
- Ability to work independently in fully remote and international environments while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD processes, and collaborative development practices is highly desirable.
