About the role
AMA European Consulting is currently looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our clients in Belgium.
We are looking for someone with solid experience in data engineering, capable of designing, developing and maintaining reliable data solutions and pipelines.
Your responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines
- Collect, transform and integrate data from multiple sources
- Work with ETL/ELT processes
- Ensure data quality, reliability and performance
- Work with databases, data platforms and cloud environments
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists and other IT teams
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data architecture
- Professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data\-focused role
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Python
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud/data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake or similar is an advantage
- Good understanding of databases and data modelling
- Fluent/professional Dutch is required
- Good knowledge of English
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
