<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated <strong>Service Manager</strong> to lead the operational delivery of a new data centre in Austria, supporting the site from construction and commissioning through to full operational maturity.</div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">This is a long‑term role responsible for establishing and embedding operational best practice during the build and ramp‑up phase, and for leading high‑performing, resilient operations once the facility is live.</div>
<div class="paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol">The successful candidate will be <strong>based in Austria</strong> and bring strong experience within data centre, logistics, or other critical infrastructure environments, ideally with exposure to sites during construction, commissioning, or early‑stage operations.</div>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>

<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Partner with construction, engineering, and external vendors to ensure operational requirements are embedded early</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Build and lead on‑site service capability, including workforce planning, onboarding, training, and performance management</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements across both construction and operational phases</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance to support ongoing operations</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Oversee inventory, materials flow, and operational logistics to support data centre activities</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Support maintenance planning and the reliability of critical infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, and network environments</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Act as the primary on‑site lead for service delivery, driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across both transition and steady‑state operations</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Proven experience in a <strong>Service Manager</strong>, Operations Manager, or similar role</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Background in <strong>data centre operations, logistics, supply chain, or other highly structured operational environments</strong></li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience supporting environments through <strong>construction, commissioning, ramp‑up, and ongoing operations</strong></li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Strong understanding of service delivery, vendor coordination, and operational processes</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience managing <strong>inventory, warehousing, or material flow</strong> in complex environments is highly desirable</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Demonstrated ability to build and scale operational service functions</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams, contractors, and third‑party providers</li>
<li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Knowledge of Austrian and/or EU health, safety, and regulatory standards</li>
