DACH Export Area Manager
Our client is a leading French industrial group producing and marketing traditional French cakes and cookies, with over 700 employees across 8 sites in France. As part of their continued international expansion, they are recruiting a DACH Export Area Manager to join their Export team, based in Berlin, Germany.
Reporting to the Export Director, you will join the Export Area Management team (four Export Area Managers) and be responsible for commercializing the group's products, optimizing the customer portfolio, and growing sales revenue across the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Define and implement the route\-to\-market strategy for the region
\- Develop and execute a commercial action plan tailored to the territory
\- Anticipate customer needs and market trends
\- Manage distribution networks
\- Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets
\- Analyze markets, competitors, and local trends
Candidate Profile:
\- Master's degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related field
\- 3\+ years of relevant business development experience (5 years total experience), ideally in the food industry
\- Fluent in German and English
\- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, and relationship\-building skills
\- Methodical, detail\-oriented, and organized
Details:
\- Full\-time, fixed\-term contract (1 year, renewable), employed via Employer of Record (EOR)
\- Schedule: Monday\-Friday, 9am\-6pm (40h/week)
\- Compensation: €60,000\-75,000 gross/year \+ 10\-15% variable tied to targets
\- Start date: as soon as possible
