Your Role
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will work on client assignments while also playing an active role in developing our cyber security activities.
You will contribute to projects such as:
- NIS2 gap assessments and implementation trajectories
- ISO 27001 implementations and certification support
- Security audits and maturity assessments
- Technical security reviews (cloud, network, applications)
- Penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Guidance on embedded software security
- Implementation of security controls or support during implementation
- Risk assessments and the setup of security governance structures
- analyze risks and vulnerabilities
- translate technical findings into practical and actionable advice
- collaborate closely with both technical teams and management
- take ownership of quality and deliverables
In addition to client work, you will actively contribute to the further development of our cyber security service line:
- helping define and shape our service offering
- developing a recognizable and scalable approach
- building expertise and facilitating knowledge sharing within the team
- contributing to the strategic positioning of cyber security within TÜV
- representing our expertise in the market through webinars, presentations at events, and more
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cyber security
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an IT\-related field; candidates with a PhD in cyber security are also encouraged to apply
- You are able to independently guide and advise clients
- You are capable of structuring and challenging client requests
- You feel comfortable working in an environment where not everything is fully defined yet
- You combine strong technical expertise with a pragmatic approach
- You have the ambition to eventually take on a role in coaching and guiding colleagues
