Part of leading Fresh Produce business Fresca Group Ltd, we’re a successful \& rapidly expanding customs agency. We provide a range of import \& export services to group companies and our third\-party clients.

We are now recruiting for a new team member to join our day shift, and are seeking candidates with a background in customs, logistics or supply chain, ideally in an FMCG environment. In\-house training will be provided, along with support to gain professional qualifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established privately owned organisation. In fact, 40% of the group is employee owned, and you will have the opportunity to take a stake in the business through our Share Incentive Plan.

During a typical shift, you will submit customs declarations and associated pre\-notifications for our clients. You will also proactively secure the timely release of goods when there are customs holds on consignments. This will involve frequent interaction with third parties such as HMRC, APHA, port authorities, inland border facilities, and hauliers*.*

Key skills:* Experience with customs systems (e.g. CDS, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia) desirable.

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in logistics or supply chain.


• Understanding of customs procedure codes and specialist customs procedures.


• Understanding of controlled goods \& goods subject to sanitary and phytosanitary controls.


• Institute of Export or UK Customs Academy \- level 3 certificate desirable.


• High levels of attention to detail \& proficient with MS Excel.


• Proactive, a self\-starter.


• Ability to prioritise and multitask.

• Weekend working will be required on a rota basis.


• 08\.00 to 17\.00\.


• 1 hour break.
