PET is an established well known Warehouse and Logistics Company that has been trading for 34 years, we deal with a variety of aspects from Palletways Network, General Haulage, Imports/Exports, Logistics and Warehousing of goods in our 75,000 sqft premises based in East Goscote.

We require a Customer Services Representative to join our busy and expanding company. This role would also require some involvement in transport coordination when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Mainly focusing on Customer relations, handling a wide variety of enquires and issues.

  • Coordinating with other depots within the network to solve any customer/ driver issues.

  • Make pro\-active calls to keep in touch with current customers.

  • Customer Services and normal offices responsibilities from filing to spread sheets etc.

  • Assisting in monitoring the progress of the entire operation.

  • Occasionally helping to plan and organise the collections and deliveries as well as the loading of the night trunk vehicles.

  • To be able to have open communication with warehouse staff and drivers.

  • More opportunities and responsibilities to be gained as the business continues to grow.
Required skills:
  • Experience in customer services and logistics is essential.

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Good IT knowledge, with an understanding of Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.

  • Self\-motivated with ambition to grow with the business.

  • Have ability to make decisions based on information received and to resolve problems using own initiative.

  • To be able to work within a team and in a fast, busy office environment.

  • Must have an exceptional telephone manner; handling calls professionally at all times.

  • Ability to priorities work

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to problem\-solve.

  • Excellent communication skills.
This job would be office based, dealing with customers, suppliers and drivers. Training will be provided on an ongoing basis.

Hours are 9am until 5pm

Education:
  • GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
  • Logistics: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
