Speedy Freight the UK's fastest growing same day freight and courier are currently recruiting for an office based Customer Service Advisor for their Walton on Thames branch.

Our Customer Service Advisors are an integral part of our business as they assist and manage new bookings in line with company procedures.
Responsibilities \& Objectives
- To effectively negotiate prices with customers.
- Receive orders over the telephone and input into the company computer systems
- Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
- Constantly communicate with Customer Services and the New Business Managers to ensure KPI targets achieved and maintained.
- To work to deadlines and work independently when required.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and clients. Flexible approach required to cover on\-call rota system.
- Generate own leads through research and build a pipeline of potential new business utilising the company CRM program.
- IT Literate including Microsoft, word, excel and outlook.
- Written, oral English and Mathematics to GCSE standard
- Excel / PowerPoint presentations skills.
- Strong customer service ethic with negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Articulate with a confident phone manner
- Good organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Maintaining strong connections with clients and drivers throughout the logistics process.
- Exceptional organisational skills, ensuring timely scheduling \& coordination of goods movement.
- Maintaining CRM system with costs and client PO's
- Coordinating life cycle of transport requests from order to dispatch
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000\.00\-£29,000\.00 per year
