Customer Service/ Optical Advisor (Online)

From our Head office in Bury, Manchester we operate a modern, efficient in house Optical Glazing Lab and distribution facility.
As a result of the rapid growth of the business, we are now looking to recruit an Customer Optical Assistant to join our Customer Services Team. As a Customer Optical Assistant, you'll be working within the customer service team and will be responsible for assisting customers and identifying their needs either via email, online chat or telephone. The queries are wide ranging and include: tracking customer orders, discussing their new prescription eyewear, identifying the most appropriate products for customers, discussing issues and queries relating to products and prescription eyewear.
We are looking for a team player to become part of an enthusiastic and dedicated customer services team delivering a first class experience for all our customers. You will guide customers through their online eyewear journey and deliver exceptional service throughout the customer experience.
*Skills Required:*
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Ability to work within set guidelines and de\-escalate customer concerns efficiently
- Comfortable with administration and IT, well organised and commercially astute
- A pleasant, confident and helpful telephone manner
- Experience in online webchat and responding to customer emails
- Previous experience working within a call centre environment
- The ability to confidently multi task and prioritise work load in a calmful and professional manner
- A positive forward thinking attitude
- Quick learner who is able to retain lots of product knowledge
- A knowledge of prescription lenses, optical frames and sunglasses would be an advantage but not essential.
- Eligible to work in the UK
Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time
Pay: £12\.71 per hour
