We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer\-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and enjoys helping customers while working closely with transport and operations teams.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling enquiries relating to pallet deliveries, parcel shipments, same\-day courier services, collections, tracking, and service updates.

You will work closely with our transport, warehouse, and courier teams to ensure customers receive accurate information and a high level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound telephone calls, emails, and online enquiries.

  • Providing shipment tracking updates and delivery information.

  • Booking collections and deliveries for pallets, parcels, and same\-day consignments.

  • Investigating and resolving customer queries, delays, and service issues.

  • Liaising with drivers, depots, courier partners, and operational teams.

  • Maintaining accurate customer records and shipment information.

  • Processing customer quotations and service requests.

  • Managing customer expectations and ensuring timely communication.

  • Supporting key accounts with day\-to\-day service enquiries.

  • Escalating issues where necessary and following through to resolution.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.

  • Confident using IT systems.

  • Positive, professional, and customer\-focused attitude.
Desirable
  • Experience within logistics, transport, courier, pallet networks, or parcel distribution.

  • Knowledge of UK transport operations and delivery processes.

  • Experience using transport management or CRM systems.
