About the Role:
We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to our sales department and assist in ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail\-oriented and possesses excellent communication skills.
Duties will include:
- Communicating with customers via telephone, email, online web chat system, and face\-to\-face.
- Helping customers with queries, and follow\-ups, and keeping fantastic customer relations.
- Passing detailed queries over to the relevant colleagues.
- Processing orders over the phone and through our order systems (web shop, email etc).
- Processing invoices and taking customer payments.
- Producing customer statements and payment receipts.
- Processing packed invoices, booking in couriers (parcels and pallets), and printing labels.
- Advising customers about products and helping them make orders, using sales skills and product knowledge.
- General office administration tasks.
- Collection of cash from delivery drivers and balancing the daily cash book.
- Planning for the next day’s work.
- Allocating incoming payments from Customers.
- Monitoring outstanding payments and following up on overdue accounts
- Processing customer requests, refunds, cancellations, and adjustments
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with an accounting software (SAP Business One/Sage/Xero)
- Strong numeracy.
- Strong IT skills including Outlook and excel.
- Have a proficient level of English language reading and speaking comprehension.
- Good, confident people skills.
- You must have your own mode of transport as there is no public transport to the office location at St. Margaret’s Farm in DA4 9LB.
We operate across four shift patterns: an early shift starting at 5:30 AM, a middle shift starting at 7:00 AM, a late shift starting at 9:30 AM, and a night shift from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM during the Christmas period (including Saturdays and Sundays).
