Carly Press is a long established print, signage and branded display company based in Wellington, Somerset. We work with businesses, schools, councils, charities, events, clubs and organisations across the country, producing everything from business stationery and brochures through to large format graphics, signage, exhibition displays, vehicle graphics and promotional print.

We are a busy, growing family run business with a strong reputation for quality, reliability and customer service. Our customers trust us to guide them through the print process, solve problems, meet deadlines and deliver work to a high standard.

We are now looking for a proactive, organised and customer focused person to join our team in a Customer Service and Sales Support role.

The Role

This is a key role within the business, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to quote, order confirmation, production and delivery. You will be one of the main points of contact for customers and will work closely with our account managers, studio team, production team and management.

The right person will be confident speaking to customers, highly organised, accurate with details and able to keep multiple jobs moving in a busy print environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for:

Handling customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and helpful manner

Gathering the correct information from customers so quotes and orders can be processed accurately

Preparing or supporting the preparation of quotes using our internal systems

Following up quotes and helping convert enquiries into confirmed orders

Entering and checking order details before jobs are passed to studio and production

Keeping customers updated on the progress of their work

Liaising with internal teams to make sure deadlines, specifications and expectations are clear

Helping customers with basic advice on print, materials, finishes and options

Escalating technical queries to the right person when needed

Helping resolve customer queries quickly and professionally

Maintaining accurate customer and job information within our systems

Supporting improvements to the customer journey and internal workflow

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, takes pride in being organised and wants to be part of a busy, ambitious team.

You do not need to come from a print background, although experience in print, signage, customer service, sales support, admin or estimating would be a strong advantage.

The most important qualities are accuracy, communication, confidence and a willingness to learn.

Good computer skills, including email and basic spreadsheets and management systems

Experience That Would Help

Experience in customer service, sales support, administration, print, signage, marketing, design, production or estimating would be useful.

Experience using order management systems, CRM systems or print MIS software would also be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
