Customer Program Manager
Location:Kortrijk, BE
This role carries end\-to\-end responsibility for a portfolio of products and solutions, rather than a single product. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle, from strategy definition and execution to ongoing management and eventual phase\-out.
You will balance customer value, technical feasibility and business performance, acting as the single point of accountability for all product\-related decisions within your scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product and portfolio strategy in alignment with the healthcare and segment strategy
- Translate market, customer, technology and competitive insights into clear strategic choices
- Set and communicate a multi\-year roadmap at portfolio level
- Make investment and prioritisation trade\-offs and determine lifecycle positioning (invest, sustain, harvest, consolidate or exit)
- Own the business case and economic performance of the portfolio, including margin, ROI, revenue mix and cash impact
- Define and steer pricing strategies and value capture models, while managing cost, complexity and lifecycle profitability
- Take full accountability for commercial outcomes, beyond delivery
- Own the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to end\-of\-life, including go/no\-go/stop decisions
- Ensure consistent execution of lifecycle decisions across Sales, R\&D, Operations and Service
- Anticipate and manage risks such as obsolescence, capacity constraints, quality issues and margin erosion
- Lead cross\-functional teams without hierarchical authority and act as an integrator across Product, R\&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Service and Sales
- Provide clear direction and resolve conflicts with a strong business\-first mindset, escalating when needed
- Act as a role model for product management, coaching Product Managers and shaping governance and ways of working
- Strong systems thinking with a clear understanding of value chains and lifecycle impact
- Ability to balance long\-term strategy with short\-term business priorities
- Confident decision\-making, including making trade\-offs with incomplete information
- Naturally adopts a portfolio management mindset rather than focusing on individual products
- Highly self\-driven, proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable coaching and challenging stakeholders, acting as a credible sparring partner for senior leadership
- Sufficient technical depth to challenge R\&D and system architects
- Strong understanding of customer workflows, system integration, and market dynamics
- Clear and structured communicator, able to translate complex trade\-offs into actionable insights
