Role: Customer & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm GMT / 10:00am-7:00pm BST, including 1-hour unpaid lunch
Pay: £27,000 per annum
Contract: 12 weeks temp then permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer & Logistics Coordinator to join one of our clients, a growing independent business based in Fareham.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, logistics coordination and some marketing support. It would suit someone proactive, organised and confident managing customer enquiries while also supporting stock, shipments, returns and general operations.

The Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong IT skills, including Google Suite


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills


• Ability to multitask and work under pressure


• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills


• Professional and patient approach when dealing with customers


• Ability to manage difficult or challenging customer enquiries


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong record-keeping skills


• Flexible and open to change


• Physically capable of carrying out stock handling and warehouse duties


• Able to travel to and from the office independently


• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle would be advantageous

The Role:

• Respond to customer enquiries through internal systems, websites, email and occasionally telephone


• Track orders and shipments and provide customers with accurate updates


• Manage customer expectations and escalate complex issues where required


• Carry out customer consultations following full product training


• Support continuous improvement activities, including testing systems, logging issues and providing feedback


• Create and update procedures and training documents


• Liaise with internal colleagues and international teams


• Process goods in and goods out, including picking, scanning, packing, labelling and arranging collections


• Check incoming deliveries for damaged or missing items


• Process returns, claims and UK order issues


• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records


• Liaise with order management and other internal teams


• Maintain a safe and organised office and storage environment


• Support marketing activities including blog and webpage updates


• Assist with social media research, content ideas and trend research


• Research potential influencers, UGC creators and content opportunities


• Provide general operational and administrative support where required
