Salary: £20,248.86 per annum (Pro Rata to £24,487 FTE)
Full-Time | Term Time Only
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (1 Hour Lunch Break)

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established Northamptonshire based education provider with the recruitment of a Curriculum Administrator to join their Sport department on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent support across a busy department.
Working closely with the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department, supporting both students and staff through efficient administration, communication, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional administrative support to the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate meeting minutes
- Support the tracking, recording, and management of student absences
- Produce letters, timetables, reports, and parent communications
- Act as a key point of contact for students, parents, employers, and visitors
- Assist with the organisation of open events, taster days, and parents evenings
- Liaise with internal departments including MIS, Student Services, Marketing, and HR
- Support timetable updates and curriculum administration processes
- Collate and present data relating to course performance and attendance
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and departmental systems
- Support invoice processing, timesheets, and general departmental administration
- Provide reception and visitor support when required
- Previous experience within an administrative or office-based role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Professional and approachable manner with strong customer service skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
- Experience within education or a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience supporting events or large-scale activities
- Experience working with database systems
- Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR processes
