CRM Engagement Manager
Role: CRM Lifecycle Manager (Subscriptions)
Location: Central London (3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to £48,000
The Company A leading UK media and publishing organisation with a portfolio of well-known consumer brands across news, sport and radio, serving millions of subscribers.
The Role This position focuses on end-of-lifecycle engagement, specifically targeting customers at risk of churn due to failed or expired payments.
You'll own strategy for this segment - identifying key drop-off points, building targeted communications and improving retention through data-led decision making.
This is a highly strategic role, with execution supported by in-house specialists.
Key Responsibilities • Own CRM strategy for payment and late-lifecycle journeys
- Segment audiences and identify at-risk customers
- Develop targeted campaigns across CRM channels
- Design and run A/B tests to optimise performance
- Analyse customer behaviour and identify churn drivers
- Collaborate with product, data and technical teams
- Continuously improve communication strategy and outcomes
- Experience in CRM, lifecycle or retention marketing
- Background in a subscription-based business
- Strong segmentation and insight-led campaign experience
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Braze, Adobe or similar)
- Confident working with data, testing and performance analysis
- Experience using Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
- Exposure to payment or churn-related customer journeys
- Hybrid working (3 days onsite)
