Credit Controller

Location: Blantyre
Department: Order to Cash (O2C)
Reporting to: Credit Control Leader

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail\-oriented Credit Controller to join our Order to Cash (O2C) team within a fast\-paced Shared Services environment. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, resolve billing and payment disputes, and help to ensure outstanding balances are collected efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administration skills who is keen to develop a career in Credit Control, Finance, or Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve customer billing and payment disputes in a timely manner to maximise cash collection.


• Manage and monitor the central Order to Cash mailbox.


• Communicate with customers daily via phone, email, and written correspondence.


• Produce customer statements and provide copy invoices when required.


• Handle incoming accounts\-related calls and direct queries appropriately.


• Build strong customer relationships to ensure agreed payment terms are consistently met.


• Perform general administrative duties to support the Credit Control function.


• Work closely with Finance teams to meet critical month\-end and year\-end deadlines.


• Collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• At least 1 year's experience in Credit Control, Order to Cash, Billing, Collections, or Customer Service.


• A good understanding of Order to Cash (O2C) processes.


• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.


• A customer\-focused mindset and strong negotiation skills.


• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.


• A proactive approach, with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.


• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience using SAP Hybris and SAP FI is desirable.


• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including:


• VLOOKUPs


• Pivot Tables


• Formulas and data analysis functions
