The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced credit professional to join a leading international organisation as a Credit Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a significant credit portfolio, supporting key commercial relationships, and helping to drive business success through effective credit risk management.
Working within a specialist credit team, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic customer relationships, structuring complex credit facilities, and ensuring the ongoing quality and performance of the portfolio.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative international environment, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and commercial teams while contributing to strategic business initiatives and process improvements.
A comprehensive handover and transition period will be provided to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and partners
- Structure, review and approve complex credit line applications and requests
- Assess and manage credit risk across a substantial portfolio
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across commercial and operational teams
- Support business growth through the provision of tailored credit solutions
- Lead and contribute to strategic process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide expert credit guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement within credit processes and portfolio management activities
You will possess:

- A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Significant experience within commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management
- Experience within financial services, asset finance, commercial lending, banking, or a similar credit-focused environment
- Proven experience managing complex customer credit relationships
- Previous people management or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and credit risk assessment
