Job Summary:
Integral Cradles is a UK façade access Installation provider with demonstrated expertise on several high\-profile projects, many of which define the London skyline. As a Cradle Engineer, you'll be responsible to follow the site managers instructions during installation of various types of equipment. You will be involved on the Installation of new equipment, removal of old equipment, test and commission equipment and decommissioning equipment . You'll also be involved with inspection and testing as per regulations and relevant H\&S standards like PUWER 1998, BS7883, LOLER 1998, BS 6037, LG3, SAEMA guidance etc.
Main Duties:
- Liaise with Senior Engineers, Operations / Project Management, and all other construction site parties associated with our works including any sub\-contractors.
- To undertake on site work tasks in both a supervisory and hands\-on capacity as directed by the Testing and Site Manager..
- Visiting client premises to installed, test and commissioning and remove access equipment, cradle \& BMU systems, fall arrest/restraint and safety line systems.
- Ensure Installation and testing and commissioning work tasks run compliance with program, budget and Health and Safety requirements.
- Co\-ordinate site activities with other trades to ensure a safe working environment exist at all times.
- Be customer focused and provide a high level of service, ensuring that Health and Safety and the company quality procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all relevant Health \& Safety standards are followed including HSAWA 1974, LOLER 1998, PUWER 1998, BS 6037, BS7883, LG3 etc. as a minimum.
- Produce technical reports of faults and defects found on the equipment. Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed.
- Proactively liaise with client/client representatives Ensure on site compliance with our procedures.
- Ensure sites run efficiently and effectively and ensure good communications at all times.
- Work with a positive attitude and have a professional and considerate approach to your work.
- Accurate and timely completion of daily reports of works undertaken, keeping access equipment maintenance records updated.
- Keep on\-site maintenance material stock accurate and periodically inspect tools and equipment.
- Undertake maintenance tasks following company procedures, manufacturer instructions and training.
- Coordinate work with the senior members of the team and line managers, reporting unsafe situations and laying out special requirements needed to undertake the tasks, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Comply with and implement all health and safety regulations, company health and safety policies, procedures and safety documentation, including but not limited to task\-specific method statements and risk assessments. Ensuring all the risks associated with the work environment and control measures are understood, properly used, maintained and monitored to allow the works to be delivered following the contractual/client requirements and company policies and compliant with all relevant legislation.

- Use of hand tools.
- Working at heights using suspended access equipment.
- Use of power tools
- Climbing fixed ladders to access building rooftops.
- Accessing Machinery platforms through fixed ladders and hatches
- Using fall arrest/restraint equipment.
- Climbing on machinery structure, using fall restraint systems.
- Team lifting both hands.
- Individual Lifting with one hand items up to SW 20 kg.
- Pushing/pulling loads on wheels up to 1500 kg. Team operation.
- Using mobile ladders and access towers.
