Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in education?

We are currently seeking confident, reliable, and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have previous experience working in schools and are passionate about supporting students' learning and development.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.


• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.


• Ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.


• Providing support and guidance to students where required.


• Following school policies and procedures at all times.


• Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues arising during the day.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a school setting as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar educational role.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Confidence in leading a classroom independently.


• A flexible and professional approach to work.


• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

Essential Requirements

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.


• Eligibility to work in the UK.


• Relevant school-based experience.
