What started as a small kiosk under a bridge in Kreuzberg has grown into a cult brand with dozens of locations. We are now taking the next step and expanding Burgermeister across the Nordics.

Country Manager Nordics
As Country Manager Nordics, you will build Burgermeister’s presence across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway from a regional hub in Copenhagen. You are responsible for establishing and scaling the business across all three markets \- from site selection and lease negotiations to opening stores, building teams, and driving operational excellence.
You act as the founder of the Nordics region, owning full P\&L responsibility and reporting directly to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead market expansion across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway from first site identification through to store openings and scaled operations
- Identify and secure prime locations, including lease negotiations and feasibility analysis across all three markets
- Build and scale the Nordic organisation (Shift Leaders Store Managers Area Managers Country support functions)
- Own full regional performance including P\&L and key operational KPIs (Revenue, COGS, Speed, Quality, Waste, Guest Satisfaction)
- Lead all pre\-opening activities including hiring, training, setup, and launch execution in each market
- Ensure consistent execution of Burgermeister standards across all Nordic stores
- Drive cross\-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Training, and Marketing
- Ensure compliance with local food safety and occupational health regulations in all markets
- Report directly to senior leadership on performance, risks, and growth opportunities
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in QSR, fast\-casual, food retail, or multi\-unit operations
- Track record in market expansion and pre\-opening management across multiple locations or countries
- Strong P\&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Hands\-on entrepreneurial mindset with passion for operational excellence and scaling businesses
- Strong cross\-functional leadership and project management skills
- Experience working across multiple markets (Nordic or international exposure is a strong advantage)
- Fluent in English. Fluency in at least one Nordic language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian) is required; additional Nordic languages are a strong advantage
- Based in Copenhagen or ready to relocate
