Country Manager Netherlands

We are now looking for a Country Manager to lead our logistics business in the Netherlands and play a key role in driving performance, strengthening collaboration, and supporting our continued growth. About the role
As Country Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance and development of DFDS Logistics in the Netherlands. You will lead through an experienced leadership team and work across multiple logistics activities and locations, ensuring we deliver value for our customers while building a strong and sustainable organisation for the future.
Working closely with your leadership team, you will drive growth, create alignment across the business, and translate strategic priorities into tangible results. You will also play an active role in the wider DFDS Logistics organisation, collaborating with colleagues across Europe and contributing to our long\-term ambitions.
Your key responsibilities include
- Driving business performance and profitable growth
- Leading and developing the local leadership team
- Strengthening collaboration across locations and business areas
- Ensuring safe, efficient and customer\-focused operations
- Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement and organisational development
- Contributing to the broader DFDS Logistics strategy
About you
- Experience leading larger operational and commercial logistics organizations incl. trailer transport, contract logistics and warehousing
- Availability for frequent travel across multiple European countries is essential
- Strong business and financial acumen, including P\&L responsibility
- A track record of delivering growth and performance improvements
- Experience developing leaders and building high\-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to balance strategic direction with hands\-on execution
- As a leader, you are collaborative, trustworthy, and visible. You create clarity, build engagement, and take ownership for delivering results.
