The Opportunity

We launched Spain in 2025 and already serve 2,500\+ customers.
Now, we are entering the next phase: from successful launch to structured and scalable growth.
We are looking for a Country Launcher to own and scale Orus Spain’s commercial engine, with the ambition to grow into Head of Sales or Country Manager Spain as the business scales.
This is a builder role, you will not just manage a team but shape a market.
Your Mission
Phase 1: Lead from the Front (First Months)
To build credibility and deeply understand the market, you will initially:
- Convert inbound leads into customers end\-to\-end
- Qualify prospects with strong listening skills and commercial judgment
- Identify customer needs and propose high\-value solutions
- Drive deals to closing with rigor and consistency
1️⃣ Own Revenue \& Commercial Performance
- Own Spain’s revenue targets and commercial KPIs
- Improve conversion rates, CAC efficiency, and sales productivity
- Identify and unlock new verticals and customer segments
- Ensure predictable, scalable revenue growth
2️⃣ Build \& Lead the Spanish Sales Organization
- Manage and develop the current team (3 sales reps)
- Recruit and structure the future Madrid\-based team
- Install a high\-performance, data\-driven sales culture
- Develop onboarding, coaching, and performance frameworks
- Adapt and improve the sales playbook to Spanish market realities
3️⃣ Define \& Execute the Go\-To\-Market Strategy
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize lead generation
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships (accountants, brokers, communities, platforms)
- Feed structured market insights back to Product and HQ
- Continuously refine positioning and messaging for the Spanish market
4️⃣ Lay the Foundations for Country Leadership
As Spain scales, your scope can expand toward:
- Full P\&L responsibility
- Cross\-functional team leadership (Sales, Ops, Partnerships)
- Local hiring roadmap ownership
- Representation of Orus within the Spanish ecosystem
What Success Looks Like (12–24 Months)
- Spain becomes one of Orus’ fastest\-growing markets (\>3x YoY growth)
- A structured, high\-performing local sales team is in place
- A clear and scalable Spanish GTM playbook is built
- Revenue growth is predictable, with strong unit economics
- You naturally evolve into Spain’s commercial leader
- Early leadership role in a high\-growth European scale\-up
- True market ownership with strong financial backing
- Direct exposure to executive leadership
- Opportunity to build and scale a country from scratch
- Clear path to Head of Sales Spain / Country Manager Spain
- 4–7\+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a high\-growth startup or scale\-up
- Experience managing and scaling teams (minimum 3–5 people)
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Strong analytical and operational mindset (pipeline management, KPIs, forecasting)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and ownership
- Strong leadership presence and ability to influence cross\-functionally
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Madrid
- Fluent in Spanish and English
