Corporate Tax Senior Manager

The fixed-term role will support the Head of Tax and the wider Group Tax Team across a broad range of corporate tax governance, compliance, and reporting activities, while also providing day-to-day support on general tax matters, including VAT and employment tax advice.

Description

• Managing corporate tax compliance, including the review of corporation tax returns prepared by external support for a large number of entities across 25 countries, with increased involvement in the UK corporation tax return process, including R&D claims, Patent Box, and capital allowances.


• Overseeing the consolidated year-end tax provision process, coordinating the audit process (with external advisors) managing tax cashflow forecasting, and supporting the potential implementation of a new quarterly reporting process.


• Managing withholding tax matters, including CT61 reviews and DTTP2 applications relating to the group's portfolio of external lenders.


• Supporting tax risk management activities, including tax controls testing


• Working alongside advisors on Pillar 2 co-sourcing engagement.


• Responding to wider business queries across areas such as VAT, employment taxes, and general tax matters.


• Providing support on a range of ad-hoc tax projects as required.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager should have:

• A professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience in a tax-focused role.


• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax regulations


• Proven ability to manage tax compliance and advisory projects.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external advisors.


• Leadership skills to guide and develop a team effectively.
