Corporate Tax Senior - Crawley

Rutherford Briant are recruiting a Corporate Tax Executive for a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm.

This position offers an excellent blend of technical development, client contact and exposure to both corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.

You will work with a varied portfolio including owner-managed businesses, family companies, corporate groups and international organisations. Alongside managing core compliance work, you will support experienced Managers, Directors and Partners on increasingly complex advisory assignments.

It is an ideal opportunity for someone who has developed a strong foundation in corporate tax and now wants broader exposure, greater responsibility and a clear route for progression.

What you will do:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients with support from senior colleagues


• Prepare and review corporation tax computations, returns and associated compliance work


• Assist with corporate tax advisory assignments and provide commercially focused solutionsSupport clients undertaking acquisitions, disposals, restructures and group reorganisations


• Gain exposure to international tax matters, including cross-border transactions and overseas group structures


• Research technical matters and prepare clear written advice and client communications


• Liaise with HMRC regarding enquiries, clearances and routine compliance issues


• Identify tax planning opportunities and help clients manage tax risk

What we are looking for:

You will be ATT or CTA or ACA Qualified or approaching qualification, with experience of UK corporate tax work gained within an accountancy practice.

You are likely to have at least two years’ experience, although the quality and relevance of your experience will matter more than an exact timescale.
