Overview
An established and highly regarded professional services firm in Norwich is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. This is a key role within the tax leadership group, offering the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, deliver high-quality technical advice, and support the development of junior team members.
The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership on strategic tax planning projects, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and direction of the firm's corporate tax offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing both compliance and advisory services
- Deliver clear, technically robust tax advice across a range of corporate tax matters
- Support and contribute to complex tax planning and advisory projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide technical guidance and mentoring
- Support the development and progression of the wider tax team
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and business development opportunities
- Ensure high standards of technical quality, compliance and risk management are maintained
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in corporate tax)
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax compliance and advisory work
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior staff
- Proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
